Sieur d’Arques – Aimery AOC Limoux, Blanquette Méthode Ancestrale Doux 2013: The Blanquette Méthode Ancestrale is 100% Mauzac. This sparkling wine is only 6% alcohol by volume. In the mouthfeel, this wine shows a beautiful fruitiness and a pleasant freshness due to a nice acidity and fine bubbles. The residual sugar gives this wine a lovely sweet note. Serve at 7°C, this wine is extremely refreshing. It will be appreciated as an aperitif or paired with a dessert. The new trend suggests serving it on the rocks in a tumbler glass.
